CROSS Systems, Inc. is committed to updating Library 1.7 on a regular basis.

We have consistently upgraded and enhanced our software since 1994. Unlike many other software companies, you do not have to purchase a new version of the software every few years.

Our philosophy of software development is to steadily enhance and support our products in an effort to meet the needs of our customers without requiring them to totally re-train on new systems. This maximizes your productivity by reducing training overhead and reduces your cost of purchasing software every few years.

While this continues to be a cost-effective solution for most of our library customers, this does not mean that these updates are without cost to CROSS or that we can make new developments without cost. Software design and development continues to be expensive. Yet, we are committed to providing a good value at a reasonable cost. We are doing that through our CROSS Library Subscription which is a very economical solution for most of our customers.

We wil be updating this topic as we release new updates. We recommend that you subscribe to this topic so that you will receive notices via e-mail as we announce updates here. Some of our posts here will be rather technical while others will be easily digestible. The benefit to you is that you will be aware of updates as they are released.

*The ability to start printing labels at a designated label position

New and simple-to-use CROSS Library 1.7 Install and Update Utility handles the following operations via the Internet:
.....Install Library 1.7 (Downloads the entire Library 1.7 software and fully installs it online without using a Library 1.7 CD and CUSTOMER INFO disk)
.....After original Internet installation, Library 1.7 can be reinstalled offline
.....Update Library 1.7 from the Internet (Downloads and installs the latest Library 1.7 release)
.....Uninstall Library 1.7 (For use in preparation of the Reinstall option)

Our new Java rebuilder code constructs a new database and maps all of the data into it to avoid lost of data. We urge every present Library 1.7 user to get this critical update ASAP! (see Contact Information).
